The organization lifts up the values of well-being, belonging and engagement while centering the voices of students to drive the shifts in school environments that are necessary to cultivate those values. Center for Love & Justice
During my time at the Center for Love & Justice, I found myself in a beautiful community of folxs who advocate fiercely for a more loving and just world. In this Center, I found deep belonging and forged lasting relationships with people fighting for communities who have historically been silenced, marginalized and oppressed. It has been an honor to learn and co-design with such incredible people and in the process, I have learned so much about myself. New Tech Network
During my time at New Tech Network, I was so honored to have met such incredible educators across the globe. I was blessed to witness some incredible teachers in action, converse with thoughtful and elder school leaders, and visit vibrant communities trying their best to service their young people. USD's Jacob's Institute for Innovation
During my time at USD's Jacob's Institute for Innovation, formerly Institute for Entrepreneurship in Education, I had my first experience learning and working with K-12 school districts to advance equity and innovation. High Tech High K-12
As a co-founder of High Tech Elementary Chula Vista, the 1st elementary school in the HTH Charter world, and a co-founder of High Tech Elementary San Marcos, I learned a deep wealth of knowledge around project-based learning and more broadly around conditions that cultivate Deeper Learning. From centering student voice, to learning with community and "letting go," I have learned so much about myself as an educator through the HTH K-12 schools.
